Match Analysis :
It is a clash between on side which is yet to taste of win and other who bagged their 1st points of the season in their last clash. Both the team will come with contrast morals. It will be really interesting to watch out how Sunrisers Hyderabad will overcome with their loss as they surrendered from position they should have won. On the other hand Mumbai Indians were high on morals as they have registered their 1st win of the IPL 14th Eidtion.
Sunrisers Hyderabad captain definitely under tremendous pressure ahead of their match against the Mumbai Indians as his team had lost both the matches played so far. SRH is still looking to open his account on the point table. They have to play 3 more matches at the same venue in Chennai that will help the SRH to understand the condition of MA Chidambaram Stadium.
David Warner and Rashid Khan have continued to impress everyone with their skill in the game but major concern from SRH is Manish Pandey’s slow rate of scoring. He is scoring runs but he is not able to release the pressure from the team because of slow pace of scoring.
In the last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore, SRH decided to bowl 1st after winning the toss. Bowlers did a impressive job by restricting a strong batting line up of RCB to a total of 149. Jason Holder had a great outing with the ball and took 3 wickets, Rashid Khan took 2 wickets, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T. Natarajan and Shahbaz Nadeem took 1 wicket each.
While chasing Captain David Warner once again proved him as a leader and lead his team from the front with a knock of 54 runs but his partner Wriddiham Saha disappointed everyone and got out cheaply. And then a slow innings from Manish Pandey which put pressure on the middle and lower order batsman.
Whereas Mumbai Indians had a great win in their 2nd game against KKR after losing 1st match against RCB. While defending, Mumbai bowlers turned up with impressive performance and registered 10 runs win over KKR. Their finishing with the bat, which they normally do brilliantly is what is worrisome for them. Bumrah and Rahul Chahar found their form in the last game and were impressive with the bowl. Krunal has been in good form so far and Jasen has done well. Mumbai Indians looks more stable as their batsman and bowler both have started contributing to the win.
