Match Analysis : 

This will be the second match of super Sunday double header between Delhi Capitals vs Punjab Kings. Both the teams started their campaign on winning note but both the team lost their last games.  

Delhi Capitals lost their previous game to Rajasthan Royals by three wickets in a low scoring encounter at the same venue.  Capitals were struggling at a stage (36/3). Then the Skipper Rishabh Pant tried to take control over the match but couldn’t last for long. They missed the absence of Shimron Hetmyer in the middle order. With the help of lower middle order likes of Lalit Yadav, Chris Woakes and Tom Curran, Capitals put a competitive total of 147/8 in 20 overs. 

While bowling Capital’s bowlers did impressive job initially and got the top order of Rajasthan Royals cheaply. Inclusion of Ragiso Rabada boost the morale of their pace bowling attack. Avesh Khan had a great outing in both the matches played by the Capitals. Chris Woakes and Avesh Khan both thrilled the batting line up of Rajasthan Royals. At one stage Capitals were in full control of the match but again it’s a game of cricket which is very uncertain to predict that who is going to win the match. Rajasthan Royals David Miller was the only batsman who stands strong against the furious bowling attack of Capitals. And at the end a cameo from Chris Morris did wonders for the Royals. And took the match from the mouths of Capitals.

Whereas Punjab Kings batting line up collapsed like playing cards against the Dhoni lead Chennai Supper Kings in the last match. They put a low total of 106/8 in 20 over. For CSK, Deepak Chahar did all the damage to the Kings as he took 4 wickets in 4 over. Kings half team were in pavilion under 7th over of the match. 

However, the innings from Shahrukh Khan was surely gave some sort of breath to kings and they manage to cross the 100 mark. Shahrukh showed what he is capable of and can be relied on down the order. The Kings battinf line up has a lot of quality and it is difficult to see them fail twice in a row.

Their bowling was not so impress till now. The new comers like Meredith and Jhye Richardson did well be the bowl in the previous game. 

So both the teams Capitals and Kings will clash for today match which will be a exciting thriller for the audience at home on Super Sunday.
